Plenty of TAC personal bests at Bromley
There were plenty of good Tonbridge AC results at Bromley, on an even where there was little or no wind and reasonably warm.
75 metres
Elicia Lacey (u13) finished 4th in heat 2 in 10.64, which was a pb.
200 metres
Six TAC athletes were in action over 200 metres, all in different heats.
Lewis Collins had his second race of the season, finishing 3rd in race 1 in 22.48, which was a season’s best.
Ewan Wood (u20) improved his pb from last year by 0.11s to record 23.58 in race 2.
In race 3, Mark McAllister (m45) finished 2nd in 25.16, his fastest this year.
In race 4, Lucy Tallon (u15) was very close to her pb with 26.02.
In race 6, Harriet Medlen recorded 27.67 in 2nd, which was her first sub 28 second run, with a legal wind reading.
In race 10, Nicky Buckwell (w60) ran 34.94.
600 metres
Sean Molloy (79.78) and Charlie Crick (u20,79.90) produced a TAC 1-2 in the fastest race, with the latter being a big pb. Steve Fennell holds the club senior men’s record at 78.91 from 11 years ago, whilst Sean retains the under 20 record at 79.34, which Charlie was so close to.
Jess Murphy ran 1.40.69 in her debut at the distance to win race 3.
1500 metres
Race 1 – Jamie Goodge (4.00.86) finished 2nd, once again just missing a sub 4 clocking. Fenton Davoren (u17, 4.17.90) was just outside his recent pb, whilst Isaac Arnott (u17, 4.18.99) ran a huge pb by 54s !)
Race 2 – Huxley Crush (u15, 4.24.93) won and reduced his pb by 23s, whilst Edward Lindsay (4.36.04) also ran a pb.
Race 3 – Ethan Rocks (u15) finished 2nd in 4.38.48, a pb by 17.9s
Race 4 – David Barclay (u15) ran 5.00.08 which was a pb by 0.01s
Discus
Under 15 Dante McNichol threw the 1.5kg Discus 39.93 metres, adding more than a metre to his personal best.
