Tornados
Come and have some fun with Tornados.
We offer a fun-based introduction to Track and Field Athletics, based at Primary school level.
The group meets on Sunday mornings at Tonbridge School Centre, during term time only. In the Summer months we are based on the track and the fields and during the winter months, we use the Sportshall.
The group is split between two groups. Cost is £5 per session, paid in cash
Seniors: Ages 9-11 (finishing the July before starting yr 7)
Juniors: Ages 6-8

ESAA Awards June 2026
On June 28th, 94 Junior and Senior Tornados athletes undertook their ESSA awards. All the athletes undertook 4 or 5 events with all the children being awarded a badge and certificate on 19th July. Many thanks to all the parents who helped on the day plus our amazing Tornados coaches, Kathryn, Francesca, Ann and Martin and not forgetting our DofE helper Frank. Well done everyone.
Tonbridge Tornados Sportshall Competition, March 2026
31 Senior and 51 Junior Tornados undertook their annual sportshall competition in March. An amazing day was had by all with all the athletes undertaking a Pentathlon. A big thank you to all the team, Kathryn, Francesca and Ann plus our 2 brilliant DofE volunteers, Frank and Oscar. We also had our fantastic parents all volunteering to help with the events. Well done everyone.
