Congratulations to all those who completed this year. You can now see the Provisional Results.
After a huge surge in demand we have 160 teams entered and so have had to close applications for further entries. We are now operating a waiting list, on the expectation there may be some withdrawals. Contact: summerrelay@tonbridgeac.org.uk to join the list. We still have lots of room for the junior race. Enter via the Opentrack link below.
This years relays are confirmed for Wednesday June 24th 2026 and we have a few changes to the event:
- The relays will be the same as ever – teams of 3 running 4km laps across the beautiful grounds of Penshurst Place. For U18 runners and upwards
- Included in the relays event is a corporate race – we’re hoping local businesses will put together teams and fight it out against each other
- We’re holding a separate race beforehand for U12, U14 and U16 athletes. One 2km lap across the grounds.
Entries are now open – please visit Opentrack to submit your entry.
Come and join us for….
- A Fun, informal and competitive event
- Excellent supporting opportunities with fine views of the Kent High Weald
- On-site refreshment at the Porcupine Café
- Free car parking
- Full chip timing and a UK Athletics licensed event (#30663)
We couldn’t hold this event without financial support. I am really pleased we have some fabulous local businesses supporting the Midsummer Relays this year.
- Definition Training Facility, Tonbridge. Definition is a training space for people who want to define and redefine themselves. It’s a gym built on effort, on struggle, and on showing up when it would be easier not to. By any means necessary.
- The Springbank Clinic in Sevenoaks, a family-owned osteopathic practice which has multiple other services including Podiatry, Acupuncture, Dietetics, Clinical Psychology, Psychiatry, Sports Massage, Physiotherapy & Pilates, Neuro Physiotherapy, Nutrition and Audiology.
And for the third year running we are delighted Birketts continues to support us, this year supporting the T-shirt spot prizes. Birketts is a full service, UK top 50 law firm with offices across the South of England and in Sevenoaks. With their unique design and made from the best quality cotton, the T-shirts are the sought after prizes anyone can win!
We are also so grateful for all the local businesses who contribute prizes for the event. Squerryes Winery is providing 3 bottles of their finest fizz for one lucky team. There will also be prizes from Quizified, the quiz app, the Running Hub in Southborough, Up and Running in Sevenoaks, Circular & Co the sustainable drinkware and Dr Melissa Bujtor, founder of Lifespan Nutrition, a specialist dietetics practice supporting children, adolescents, women, and families through evidence-based nutrition.
