Following the sad passing of Alan Bennett earlier this year, we are delighted to announce the appointment of our new President, Iain Presnell.
A member of TAC since his schooldays, Iain has served as senior sprints coach for many years and is a former Chairman of the club. He is also very active at county club level and with schools’ Athletics.
Iain returns to the club committee in an ex officio capacity and also has joined a small ‘Development’ sub-committee charged with finding solutions to some of our club’s ‘big issues’.
Iain’s appointment, voted by the Management Committee and approved by the Trustees, will be ratified at the next AGM, with a backdated three-year term of office to February 2027.
We welcome Iain to his new role.
