Samantha Stubbs set a new TAC women’s Shot Put record of 11.97 metres at the BUCS champs on Sunday, where she finished 6th. It’s not only an indoor record, but further than the outdoor record set in 1998 ! This was on Sunday and on Friday Sam ran 8.94 for 60 metres hurdles, just outside the 8.92 record from Amelie Rabbidge this season.
Ben Gardiner was 6th in the men’s 800m final having run 1.50.56 in the semi final, whilst Freya Ridge was 8th in the High Jump with 1.60 metres.
