Dear TAC Distance runner / supporter,
I write with good news of a planned ‘National Awards Dinner’ – a highlight of the season for so many of us over the last 14 years.
To cut a long story short, we have decided against an evening event this year, as it is stressful to hurry back from Parliament Hill, so I am planning a lunchtime event the day afterwards, Sunday 27 February, at The Judd School, Tonbridge.
The provisional arrangements are as follows:Arrival from 12 noon (drinks and nibbles)2-course lunch served 13:00 (probably delicious lasagne followed by cakes, provided by Jan of Fresh Catering)
Awards at 14:30
Depart by 16:00
Cost – approximately £20 per person.

We really hope this event, whilst a little different from the usual evening events, will have the same club atmosphere and celebration as usual. To this end, it would be great to see as many athletes and supporters as possible, from all ages. Previous Dinners have seen attendances of c.200 people – I am hopeful we can approach this number again this year.
