Joe Stone U15 competed in the London Schools, Middlesex Schools and Kent Schools Junior Boys Combined Events Championships at Lee Valley Athletics Centre London representing Oakwood Park Grammar School on Wednesday 26th.
With a field of 40 boys from year 8 and 9 including 5 schools from Kent took part in the competition ( Ashford , Dartford Grammar, Judd, Oakwood Park Grammar and Sevenoaks Schools )
Winning the competition outright Joe is the Kent Schools Junior Boys Combined Events Champion 2021 with a combined points score of 2762, a lead of 453 points over 2nd placed boy from London Schools.
Joe led from the start and his combined points position did not change through out the day, although he was joint first with a boy from Dartford Grammar school after 2 events. Joe got 4 new personal best performances in his 5 events ( 80m Hurdles, 4kg Shot Put, High Jump, Long Jump and 800m.)
