West sets 1500 metres record
James West once again lowered his pb and Tonbridge AC 1500 metres record in Doha on Friday, when finishing 5th in 3.34.07. James also broke the Oregon University record, previously held by 2016 Olympic Champion Matt Centrowitz.
The time places James 2nd on the 2020 UK rankings, behind Jake Wightman. He also moves into the UK all-time top 20 in 19th.
