The Kent under 13, Masters and Multi Events Championships were held at Gillingham across the weekend.

Full results can be found here and no doubt will be updated, as there are some clear errors –

As far as I can tell amongst the Tonbridge AC veterans’ gold medals were won by Diane Wright (w50 100m), Mark McAllister (m50 200m) and Phil Coleman (m60 800m and 1500m). There maybe others but correct results had not been posted at the time of writing. For example, Sally Vine is listed as winning the w60 Hammer with 256,674.74 metres, which even Sally isn’t capable of !

In the under 13s Laura Wrigley won the Shot Put and Discus, whilst Florencia Munoz won the 70m hurdles and Long Jump.

On the roads, Verity Hopkins ran an excellent 71.52 (pb by 46s) and finished 22nd in the women’s race at the Copenhagen Half Marathon. This nudged her ahead of Phoebe Barker to move into a clear 2nd on the TAC all-time list. Dan Bradley won the Basildon Half Marathon on Sunday in 71.05.

On Tuesday, Jess and Sean Molloy had an addition to their family with the birth of Hudson Ronan Molloy and all are doing well.

Also on Tuesday, Grazia Manzotti (TAC coach) was hit by a car whilst on her way home, after training. We had a worrying few days, whilst Grazia was stabilised and assessed. However, she has been improving every day and despite a few small fractures, cuts and bruising seems on her way to a full recovery.
